This is truly the way forward ! It is about time the City of Windsor embraces a project that is truly for the city and not the boosting of the Politicians position in our city. Our council has far to long delayed a project that should have been completed a long time ago. I think its about time they stay out of the picture and let the real Pro's run the show and get it done right. Way to Go Toldo !!!! |

This project looks great but I wonder how much money is in it for the Rosati Group and the Toldo Group. I'd like to see what percentage the city would get for it's investment of our public tax dollars and whether or not this would be tendered to any other builders to ensure we get the best price possible. |
| Answer / Rebuttal: |
The city is being asked to invest $15m as an equity participant. In return it gets title to the land that the Arena sits on - this provides security to the taxpayer. The Toldo and Rosati families will invest the balance of $23m to equal the total investment in Phase 1 of $38m. The fact that the Rosati Group will build it only ensures that it will be completed on time and on budget, and the City is not responsible for deficits or cost overruns. Having the area’s premiere builder as an equity partner and in control of the building of the facility should give everyone a comfort level. |

I am wondering how to get a sign to show my support that I am seeing around town on front lawns.
Thankyou! |

I work on Front Rd for a small family owned business and love the project! I have my fingers crossed that this goes ahead because I think this will bring a lot of traffic to this end of town! |

We need this in Windsor to help draw venues into the city. I only wish that we could have this exact proposal in the Downtown area. It would rejeuvenate our lackluster downtown with over flow and family destinations. The city of Windsor needs to take on this project and move Windsor forward. |

I think this will be a huge financial gain for everyone involved - including the city of Windsor and the Town of LaSalle. GO FOR IT!!! |

Thank god its about time. A project like is is long over due. I have been a long time fan of hockey and horse racing, and both of Windsor's venues for these sports are in need of some help. This is the best idea and location for someting like this. Lets get construction started!!!!!!! |

I agree built it now! Enough talk it always takes years to get anything here. Just build it. Ya I want to see built but not 10 years from now. It's a wise choice for sure it will be busy. If you ever went to a spits game you would see how many people go to these games. |
